Our Story

You were sold a $5,000 website. Then ignored.

Every small business owner I know has the same story. An agency charges thousands upfront, disappears for three months, hands over a site you can't edit, then charges $500 to change a phone number. LeadChime is what I wish existed back then.

Why LeadChime Exists

I built this because the alternatives are broken

I’ve watched too many small business owners — plumbers, cleaners, roofers, handymen, landscapers — get absolutely taken advantage of online. A website is supposed to be a tool that brings in work. Instead it became something agencies charge thousands for, a pile of monthly fees that keep adding up, or a do-it-yourself nightmare that eats your Saturday.

Meanwhile the phone rings off the hook with scam calls: "your Google listing is expired," "we can get you on page one," "final notice on your domain." The mailbox fills up with the same stuff. Every one of those calls is trying to sell a half-built website for way too much money — usually to someone who just wants to run their business, not deal with this.

You shouldn't have to pay $5,000 and sign a year-long contract to have a decent website. You shouldn't have to learn new software. And you shouldn't have to sit through a sales call.

I built LeadChime because I wanted the thing that didn't exist — a website for a small business that actually works, that doesn't cost a fortune, and that you don't have to learn new software to use. It's $199 to get it built, $25/month to keep it running, and anything new we add — new features, new tools, anything — comes included. Forever. Not as an extra fee. Not as a "pro" plan you didn't sign up for. Included.

When you have a question, a change you want made, or something you'd like us to build — you just send a message. Things get handled, usually in minutes. Anything bigger comes straight to me. Every custom request, every decision about what to build next — I read them myself. That's the whole deal: one place to message, and stuff actually gets done.

What You've Been Dealing With

Why small business owners are fed up

If any of these feel familiar, you already know why LeadChime exists.

The $5K Agency

Big upfront, gone after launch

They charge thousands, take three months, hand you a website you can't change yourself, then disappear. Want to update a phone number? $150. Want a new service page? $500. Want your own logins? That's another fee.

  • $3,000–$8,000 upfront
  • You don't actually own the site
  • Every small change is billable
  • They stop answering once you've paid
The Do-It-Yourself Builder

Cheap until it isn't

Wix, Squarespace, GoDaddy — "$15 a month" until you try to actually run a business. Then it's $30 for email, $40 for SEO, $25 for a booking tool, $12 for a contact form — and you're still the one building it on a Saturday night.

  • You end up being your own website person
  • Every useful feature is a separate add-on
  • No missed-call text back, no automatic follow-ups
  • "Free" hours turn into unpaid ones
The "Do Everything" Platforms

Jobber, Housecall Pro & friends

Big software packages built for big crews. $300–$500 a month. They charge you for every employee you add. Long contracts. Training calls. Loaded with stuff you'll never use. For a lot of one-truck and small-team operations, it's a sledgehammer on a finish nail — and the website they give you looks like every other one.

  • Fees for every employee you add
  • Year-long contracts you can't get out of
  • Buttons and menus you'll never touch
  • Your website is an afterthought
The Spammers

The people blowing up your phone

"This is your final notice." "Your Google listing is about to expire." "We can get you on page one." Robo-calls, fake renewal letters, overseas cold-call shops — preying on busy owners who don't have time to check every pitch. None of it is real. None of it is on your side.

  • Cold calls and "final notice" letters
  • Fake Google or domain renewal scams
  • "Guaranteed #1 on Google" promises (it's not real)
  • Hard-sell tactics, then they disappear once paid
What LeadChime Is Instead

Three things no agency or software company is willing to do

These aren't features. They're the reason LeadChime exists in the first place.

Free updates for life

Every new feature we build — whether that's next month or five years from now — is included in your plan. No "pro" upgrade. No upgrade fee. No "oh, that's extra." If we build it, you get it.

Messages get answered, not filed

When you need something — a change to your website, a new photo, a new service, a question — you send a message and it gets handled. Usually in minutes. No phone tree, no ticket queue, no "3 business days" reply. Anything custom goes straight to the founder to read and decide on personally.

Honest pricing, forever

$199 to get it built. $25/month for the website. $99/month for the full platform. No contracts. No fees for every employee you add. No surprise add-ons. No "your price is going up 40%" emails next year. What you sign up for is what you pay.

Why It Matters

Built around how small businesses actually work

You're busy running your business. LeadChime is designed to fit into real workdays — not create more tasks for your list.

Fast answers win the job

Customers call two or three businesses and hire the first one who calls back. Missed-call text back and instant reply to web forms keep you in the conversation — even when you're on a ladder.

Built for owners on the truck

Look at new customers, send a quote, collect payment, or message a client — all from your phone. No laptop. No office. You can run the whole thing between stops.

Changes by text

Want to change your hours, swap a photo, add a new service, or post a special? Text us what you want done. We handle it. No logins. No menus to figure out.

We handle the boring stuff

Hosting. Security certificates. Software updates. Backups. Monitoring. It's all included and handled for you. You never have to think about it.

More good reviews, fewer bad ones

When a customer gives you five stars, we send them straight to your Google reviews. When someone's unhappy, the message comes to your phone first so you can make it right — before it shows up in public.

Room to grow

When you're ready to bring in more work, we can add on Google Ads, search engine help (SEO), and simple ways to automate the busywork. Optional. The main package does plenty on its own.

  Lifetime Promise

Every feature we ever ship, included.

Most software companies save their best features for a "Pro" or "Business" plan, then raise your price 2–3× the next year. Not here. As long as you're a LeadChime customer, you get everything we build — at the price you signed up at.

Here's what's already been added since we started, all free to existing customers:

  • Online booking that knows your schedule
  • Quotes customers accept or decline online
  • Invoices with credit card and bank payments
  • Recurring jobs and monthly contract billing
  • Missed-call text back
  • Smart review requests — happy ones go to Google, unhappy ones come to you
  • Appointment reminders and "on my way" texts
  • Drag-to-reschedule calendar
  • Service list with pricing from Home Depot
  • Unlimited team members with different permission levels
The Deal

What you'll never get from us — and what you will

Every item on both lists is a conscious decision. This is the company I want to run.

  What you'll never get

  • A cold call from a salesperson
  • A year-long contract you can't get out of
  • Fees for every employee you add
  • "Your price is going up 40%" next-year emails
  • Fake urgency — "final notice" scams and domain-renewal cons
  • Features locked behind a surprise "Pro" plan
  • Support that makes you wait 3 business days for a reply
  • Your customer list held hostage if you ever cancel

  What you'll always get

  • Messages that get answered in minutes, not business days
  • Month-to-month pricing, cancel anytime
  • Unlimited team members, no per-employee fees
  • The same price you signed up at, as long as you stay
  • Every new feature we ever build, included
  • A list of what's coming next — and the option to ask for what's not
  • Your customer list and data, yours to take with you anytime
  • A founder who's close enough to actually listen
What's Next

What we're building — and you can ask for what's not here

This is what we're working on. If something here matters to your business — or something we haven't listed does — tell us. Requests from paying customers go to the front of the line.

Being Built Now Free website checkup tool

Paste your website address and get a plain-English scorecard: how it works on phones, how fast it is, and whether it's secure.

Being Built Now Free invoice and quote maker

A free, no-signup version of the invoice and quote tools our customers use. Fill it out, send it as a PDF or email. Anyone can use it.

Coming Next Update your Google Business Profile from here

Change your hours, add photos, and post updates to your Google listing straight from LeadChime — or by text.

Coming Next Automatic review requests after a job

When you mark a job done, the system asks that customer for a review automatically — and sends the happy ones to Google.

Thinking About It QuickBooks connection

Your customers and invoices sync both ways, so your bookkeeper stops double-typing everything.

Thinking About It A proper phone app

Everything already works on your phone's browser. A full app is the next step if enough customers ask for it.

Send a message — we actually reply

Got a question, want a change made, or want to know if we can handle something specific for your business? Send us a message. You'll get a real reply — usually in minutes, not business days. For anything custom or if you just want to talk to a person before signing up, the founder reads those himself.
